What the Wristband Cards Generator does
Many coaches use wristband cards so catchers, pitch-callers, and base coaches can look up a call without hand signals. Pitch MetRx lets you create pitching cards and offensive play cards in the same app where you chart games and review pitching metrics—no separate template or design tool required.

How to create wristband play call cards
- Sign in to Pitch MetRx Start a 14-day free trial or sign in to your account.
- Open the Wristband Cards Generator From your dashboard, open the wristband tool.
- Choose Pitching or Offense mode Select whether you are building a pitch-calling card or an offensive play card.
- Add your codes For pitching: select pitch types from the built-in list, load them from a pitcher on your roster, or enter custom codes (up to 5 characters). For offense: check built-in plays (hit away, sac bunt, steal, squeeze, and more) or add custom plays with codes up to 5 characters.
- Choose grid size and colors Pick a grid size and set highlight colors for each code.

For pitching, pick from built-in baseball and softball pitch types (for example, FBI for fastball inside, CBM for curveball middle, or SLO for slider outside) or enter your own. For offense, use built-in play codes (such as BNT4H or FB-ST) or create custom codes up to 5 characters.
What grid sizes are available?
You can choose from four grid sizes: 3×3, 4×4, 5×5, or 6×6. Each size has numbered rows and columns so every cell has a coordinate for lookups on the Coach’s Reference Sheet.
Does it work for both baseball and softball?
